The Ladies programme starts with the 1/4 finals
Friday 30th March at 9.30am, Semi-Finals at 3.30 & 6.30pm followed with
Final on Saturday at 3.30pm. The Mens programme start of with the 1/4
finals at 12.30pm on Friday; followed by the Semi-Finals at 9.30am &
12.30 and Final at 6.30pm all on Saturday 31st March.

ENGLAND RETAIN THE CLARA JOHNS TROPHY - 19.03.12
“England retained the Clara Johns Trophy for the 4th consecutive year
after beating Scotland by one shot on the last day of the series. It was
a close match throughout with top quality bowls played by both teams,
but the English Team stepped up to the mark playing some magnificent
shots over the crucial last few ends to secure victory.“ |

The Sport and Recreation Alliance has announce the nomination process
for the Community Sport and Recreation Awards 2012 is now open.
Previously known as the Sports Club of the Year Awards, they have been
renamed to reflect the wide variety of our members' activities, and
include new categories to recognise the breadth of work that's carried
out by the sport and recreation sector as a whole.

BRITISH ISLES CHAMPIONSHIPS - 14.03.12
Congratulations to Perry Martin (Swale) on winning the U25 Singles Title
against Ross Owen (Wales) 21-15. Also to Sarah Seymour and Ellen Falkner
(City of Ely) on winning the Ladies Pairs after a tight game against
Gaynor Thomas and Alison Camacho (Channel Islands) 18-17. |
