Indoor Bowling Clubs Facilities
The EIBA is currently engaged in discussion with Sport England and the following National Governing Bodies for Bowls, with a view to producing a National Facilities Strategy document which will provide assistance to all Developers of new Bowling Facilities: EWIBA (English Women’s Indoor Bowling Association) EBA (English Bowling Association) – Outdoor Flat Green bowling EWBA (English Women’s Bowling Association) – Outdoor Flat Green bowling BCGBA (British Crown Green Bowling Association) – Outdoor Crown Green EBF (English Bowling Federation – incorporating English Women’s Bowling Federation) – Outdoor Federation Code. ESMBA (English Short Mat Bowling Association)
Based on the current supply of Indoor Facilities in England as a whole, the EIBA considers that Indoor Bowling Facilities in the following areas should be considered of "High Priority". This list should not be considered as a "definitive statement" and we are always pleased to consider the inclusion of further locations.
Exclusion from this list does not automatically mean that the Association will not support a Project. The Association will carefully consider, and it is hoped support, any Projects which will:
