Introduction
The Scheme is a "partnership"
initiative comprising of the:

English Indoor Bowling Association (EIBA)

English Women’s Indoor Bowling Association (EWIBA)
|
|
|
English Bowls Coaching Scheme (EBCS)
|
|
|
English Bowls Umpires Association (EBUA)

|
English Women’s Umpires Association (Bowling) (EWUA(B))
|
|
|
English Short Mat Bowling Association (ESMBA) |
|
Its purpose is to provide a pathway to enable children and young people
to participate in the Sport of Bowls and to develop their potential to
whatever appropriate level they so wish.
The Scheme provides a series of County Invitation Singles events
followed by Regional Schools of Excellence and then a National School of
Excellence.
The Scheme has also embarked upon a "Club Accreditation"
programme. This is aimed at identifying and supporting Clubs who can
provide the facilities and arrangements which meet predetermined high
standards as set by authorities such as Sport England for the Active
Sport Initiative
