Rebecca Houston (Prestwick) beat Emma Boyd (Canada) 12-1, 8-4
Jessica Srisamruaybai (Australia) beat Lowri Powell (Wales) 10-3, 10-2

The Mixed Pairs Quarter Finals completed play on Day Two.

There was a dominant display from the Australian pair of Jessica Srisamruaybai and Mason Lewis as they defeated Devon Cooper and Ryan Atkins (England) in straight sets.

There was little between the teams of Paris Baker (Tonga) and Jordan Driscoll (Wales) and Larissa Rubin (Switzerland) and John Orr (World Bowls Tour). Larissa and John won the first set before the Tongan / Welsh combination forced a match tie break. Paris played her first bowl close and this proved enough to see them win the contest and book a semi final against Mason and Jessica.

There was a dramatic finish to the Scotland v England quarter final with Eilidh Weir and John Meikle defeating Nicole Rogers and Connor Cinato with the last bowl of the game. Eilidh lay shot before Connor turned her out with his last bowl but John produced an inch perfect draw on his back hand to win the match for Scotland.

The Irish pair of Zoe Minish and Adam McKeown beat the Kiwi pairing of Natasha Russell and Seamus Curtin in the last match to complete the night session.
