Salary:    Grade 10 (£27,849 - £30,851pa)

County Durham Sport is one of 49 County Sports Partnerships committed to working with and leading partners on a local level to increase participation in sport and physical activity.

We are looking for a talented manager with broad experience in the development of sport with and through National Governing Bodies of sport. The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of the sport and leisure industry and play a key relationship management role across the County, with the ability to demonstrate excellent communication and partnership development skills. The selected candidate will have experience of successfully managing resources and projects and will be responsible for the development and delivery of Sport England funded projects and programmes.

This is a flexible role which will require occasional evening and weekend work.
County Durham Sport is hosted by Durham County Council.

Qualifications: NVQ level 5 or equivalent qualification in an appropriate area.

Successful candidates will be required to apply for a Disclosure & Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.

It is anticipated that interviews will be held on 12th April, 2013.
