IMAGINE CRUISING BECOME HEADLINE SPONSOR OF THE PREMIER THREES INDOOR BOWLS COMPETITION

The English Indoor Bowling Association Ltd (EIBA), the National Governing Body for the Sport of flat green Indoor Bowls, are delighted to announce Imagine Cruising as the title sponsors for the 2014 ‘Imagine Cruising Premier Threes Competition’.

Premier Threes is a dynamic format which sees players play 3 bowls over 3 sets of 3 ends and if a tie break is required then a 1 bowl shoot out will take place. This format will be short and sharp and games will last between 20 to 45 minutes.

Commenting on the sponsorship EIBA, CEO Peter Thompson said: “To secure Imagine Cruising as title sponsor is a major boost to the Association in developing and showcasing this exciting format of Indoor Bowls.”

An Imagine Cruising representative said: “Premier Threes brings a new opportunity for the sport of Indoor Bowls and we are delighted to be working with the EIBA Ltd to promote the game to wider audiences and encourage more people to play the sport.”

The sponsorship was brokered by the EIBA’s exclusive commercial agency, CMSeven, whose Director Charlie Mitchell said: “To bring Imagine Cruising on board as title sponsors of the entire competition, is further testament to the success of this new format of the game. It’s great that we will be continuing to work with them again across the coming year.”

There are two remaining regional qualifiers on 10th September, at Lincoln IBC and 1st October, at Swale IBC before the Grand Final on 17th December at Erewash IBC. There will be live and highlight coverage of all events on British Eurosport 2.
