RE-SCHEDULED 2019-2020 NATIONAL FINALS AT NOTTINGHAM INDOOR BOWLS
CLUB 26TH SEPTEMBER TO 13TH OCTOBER 2021
COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
The English Indoor Bowling Association Ltd (EIBA) will be putting in
place the following procedures, with the support of Nottingham
Indoor Bowls Club, for the re-scheduled 2019-2020 National Finals to
provide players, officials, volunteers and spectators confidence
that all is being done to allow the finals to take place in a
COVID-19 safe environment.
The EIBA would request that all
those who are attending the National Finals, in any capacity, accept
and follow these procedures throughout the Finals.
VENUE
*

Attendees are recommended to wear a face
covering when entering and walking around the venue. Face
coverings can be removed when playing or eating / drinking.
|

Attendees will have their temperature taken
on entering the venue. If their temperature is high a second
reading will be taken after a short period and if the
reading remains high will be asked to take a lateral flow
test. Entry into the venue will only be permitted with a
negative result.

* |
Attendees to use the numerous hand
sanitising stations throughout the venue.
|
* |
All attendees will
need to scan the appropriate QR code, which will be
displayed throughout the venue and or sign in at the players
registration table.
|
* |
The venue's
ventilation system will be on throughout the day.
|
* |
There will be a regular schedule of
cleaning throughout the day.
|
* |
The Club bar and restaurant (serving hot
and cold meals) will be open each day with designated tables
for use.
|
* |
A limited number of spectators will be
permitted but tickets need to be purchased prior to the
event. (See later spectator section for full details).

COMPETITORS

|
Will be recommended to wear a face covering
when entering the venue but can be removed when playing.
|

Changing rooms will be available but on
occasions entry will be controlled, to avoid congestion. |

Competitors, whilst understanding it is a
tough decision, if they have a high temperature, continuous
cough and
or loss of taste and or smell, should not enter the venue in any
circumstance.

There will be for each
session a cleaned mat and jack on every rink which is in use |
* |
There will be
designated scoreboard operators for each session of play. |
* |
There will be no spectator seating at the
end of the rinks, which will provide space for the
competitors to sit / stand throughout the game.

* |
Competitors will be provided with a players
pass for every day of their competition but if they wish to
attend on any other day before or after the event they will
need to register, for a complimentary pass, with the EIBA
Head Office so that they can be included in the permitted
spectators.

There will be no formal presentation of
trophies and badges but the EIBA will have a designated area
where photographs can be taken to commemorate competitors
achievement in reaching and or winning a National
Competition.

Any travel expenses and or prize money due
to the competitors will be paid by bacs after the conclusion
of the event and competitors will be contacted to provide
their appropriate bank details.

SPECTATORS

The EIBA and Nottingham IBC would be
pleased to welcome spectators on all days of the National
Finals. However, as part of the event operations, the number
permitted per day will be limited to 100.

Tickets will need to
be purchased in advance from the EIBA. This can be done from
Tuesday 31st August 2021 by calling 01664 481 900 or email

The cost of a ticket is £3 per day, £15 for
a week's pass or £30 for an all day pass.
|
* |
Spectators who have a
high temperature or continuous cough and or loss of taste
and or smell, should not
enter the venue in any circumstance.

There will be
designated seating areas throughout the venue which must be
used at all times. |
* |
The Venue's bar and restaurant will be
available for spectators to obtain food and drink.
|
The EIBA will continue to monitor the situation regarding
COVID-19 and will issue further updates if needed following
Government mandates and or directives.
