Safeguarding Bowls BursaryEnglish Indoor Bowling Association Ltd is pleased to announce the introduction of a new bursary scheme that will enable Club and County members attending safeguarding training to claim back 50% of the course cost. Payment will be made when the applicant has successfully completed the training and returns the Bursary Application Form together with a copy of the invoice and relevant certificate. This is in addition to the already existing Coaching Bursary on offer. Training Coach Bowls provides a range of training on behalf of Safeguarding Bowls to support Clubs and County Associations to provide a safe environment for all participants. This includes courses for those who work with junior bowlers and adults at risk. Coach Bowls have also launched online 'Adult Safeguarding in Bowls' courses. The course will provide an ideal opportunity for all bowlers to increase their knowledge of safeguarding from the comfort of their own home. It will be delivered as a virtual classroom via Zoom - with full interaction with the tutor and the other people attending the course throughout. The Safeguarding Bursary covers 1 Member per Club per year from 1st December - 30th November.
