ENGLAND TEAM ANNOUNCED FOR GLASGOW 2026 COMMONWEALTH GAMES - 23.01.2026
The first members of Team England who will be heading to the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games have been confirmed after 14 bowls and para bowls players were selected for the event. The team, comprised of six athletes playing in the bowls competition and eight in the para bowls, is a mix of experience and debutants, with six players making their Commonwealth Games debut. PARA BOWLERS CLASSIFICATION CLINIC - 23.01.2026
There will be a classification event at Herts IBC on Saturday 28th March for physically disabled bowlers wanting to take part in para events. Read more here.
BDA'S FIRST "WEEK OF LEARNING" OF 2026  - 20.01.2026
The Bowls Development Alliance in partnership with the EIBA will be hosting their next round of webinars during the week commencing Monday 26th January. Click here for more details.

THE 2025-26 EIBA MEMBERSHIP AND LEVY FEES ARE DUE - 11.12.2025
The annual affiliation and player levy forms were emailed to all EIBA Club and County Correspondents in November, with payment due December 31st 2025. Please can all representatives check their emails and get in touch if the documents have not been received by emailing sophiederonde@eiba.co.uk 
WHITEKNIGHTS TO HOST A PSA PROSTATE CANCER SCREENING EVENT IN JANUARY 2026 - 21.10.2025
A PSA is a simple blood test that could indicate possible prostate problems even before symptoms arise. Saturday 31st January 2026, Whiteknights IBC in Reading will be hosting a screening event. Click here to see the poster with more details.
