CHARLIE BEETON: A SEASON TO REMEMBER - 12.05.2026
After winning the EIBA National Under-25 Singles last year, Charlie was
part of England's victorious BIIBC Men's Under-25 series team and
qualified for the national fours at Nottingham, where he skipped his
team through to the quarter final stages.

2026 WORLD INDOOR BOWLS CHAMPIONSHIPS 11th to 16th May 2026 - 08.05.2026
We wish Team England's Sian Honnor and Tom Holmes all the success in the
Mixed Pairs and Singles at the World Indoor Bowls Championships, being
held at Ocean Grove Bowling Club, Victoria, Australia.
Their
first match is in the Mixed Pairs v Hong Kong China on Tuesday 12th May.

ELIZABETH SHIPLEY'S ROAD TO THE COMMONWEALTH GAMES - 30.04.2026
In three short months, Elizabeth Shipley will be going for gold in the
Glasgow Commonwealth Games as a director to visually impaired
international Sally Ann Lewis Wall. After a volunteering role at the
Birmingham Games four years ago, it's a dream come true for the
26-year-old from Hinckley.

EIBA Additional Competition Information
After the trial of
re-spots in the Summer National Competitions in 2025, and to help ensure
that all ends are completed in Individual and Team Competitions all
2026/27 Winter National Competitions will see re-spots being used.
Following a one-year trial, and if deemed successful, the use of
re-spots will become the norm for all EIBA Summer and Winter National
Competitions from the 2027/28 season.
