"OUR STAIRLIFTS CAN MAKE SUCH A DIFFERENCE TO PEOPLE'S LIVES AS IT GIVES
THEM BACK THEIR INDEPENDENCE."
Acorn Stairlifts are the headline sponsor of the EIBA Men's
and Women's National Fours competitions being held at Nottingham
IBC.
Based in West Yorkshire, Acorn Stairlifts is a world leader
in the manufacture, sale, installation and maintenance of home
stairlifts.
The innovative company manufactures around 70,000 stairlifts per
year at its three UK factories, with almost three-quarters exported
to more than 80 countries worldwide.
Nick Wilson, Acorn's
Operations Director for the UK and Europe, said: "We're delighted to
sponsor the Men's and Women's Fours at this year's EIBA National
Finals, and to support the Association in its ongoing promotion of
indoor bowls as an engaging and skilful sport for participants of
all ages.
"I'll never forget installing a lift at a bowls
club in Scotland - Nancy MacDonald had been a member of her club for
almost 30 years but couldn't manage a flight of steps to the
clubhouse after having a leg amputated and was heartbroken. We
installed a stairlift and she was soon back to enjoying life with
her pals. Our stairlifts can make such a difference to people's
lives as it gives them back their independence."
Since its
outset in 1992, Acorn has strived to set new standards in quality
for the stairlift industry, with pioneering designs and engineering
excellence.
The world's leading independent company
specialising solely in the manufacture and installation of
stairlifts will install one of their products around the world every
eight minutes.
Acorn provides the fastest installation of
stairlifts for curved staircases in the world - in some cases within
24 hours of an order being placed.
The company is proud of
its down-to-earth approach that puts people at the centre: "We
appreciate that everyone is different and unique, with their own
reasons for wanting or needing one of our stairlifts. Our job is to
listen and understand your needs."
