The EIBA Board met this morning to discuss the arrangements for the
2020-2021 Winter National Competition Programme and the
Re-Scheduling of the postponed 2019-2020 National Finals. It was agreed that: - The 2020-2021 Winter National Competitions will take place but with a phased schedule: - Individual Competitions All open and aged Singles Commence mid October 2020 All open and aged Pairs Commence mid October 2020 All open and aged Triples Commence January 2021 All open and aged Fours Commence January 2021 Club and County Team Competitions All open and aged team events Commence January 2021 The National Finals will take place from 6th April to 22nd April 2021. Next Steps The draws for the singles and pairs will be finalised and published the week commencing Monday 21st September 2020. The draws for the Triples, Fours and Team events will be finalised and published by the end of October 2020. If any individual, Club and County entrant, based on this schedule and or availability of their Club, now wishes to review their entry please can you contact Claire Edson, Competitions Administrator, via email claireedson@eiba.co.uk by 5pm on Friday 11th September 2020. The 2019-2020 National Finals Re-schedule All postponed National Finals from March and April will be held from Sunday 1st to Wednesday 18th November 2020, under COVID-19 Secure conditions. The EIBA will be finalising the final schedules and venue over the next 7 to 10 days and release full details to the competitors thereafter. |
