HANDING OVER THE CHAIN OF OFFICE

The EIBA's Annual General Meeting last Saturday marked an
important moment of transition for the Association.
After completing a dedicated year
in office, Jeremy Baker-Deam stepped down from his role as President
and formally handed over the position to Brian Hearn.

Jeremy's commitment and energy have been greatly appreciated
throughout his term, and the organisation extends its sincere thanks
for his service. As Brian begins his presidency, the EIBA wishes him
well for the year ahead.
Alongside this handover, members
also elected Les Felgate as Vice President for 2026/27. The EIBA
team looks forward to working with him over his term of office.
The AGM also received an update on the organisation's position
and ongoing activities.

Josh Pounds, Chair of the Board of
Directors, and Peter Thompson, Chief Executive, provided an overview
of current work, strategic priorities, and progress across key areas
of the sport.
They then opened the floor to member questions,
offering further insight into the EIBA's work and future direction.
Members also approved the Affiliation and Levy proposals for
2026-27, confirming the contributions that clubs and counties will
make for the year ahead.
